I’ve been a big fan of Simple Skincare products since first receiving a set of cleansing wipes and facial moisturizer about a year ago. I was impressed with both products right off the bat, and they have stayed in my bathroom arsenal ever since. On the rare occasions I wasn’t able to find the Simple brand at the store, and went with another variety, I was always not happy with them for various reasons and soon thereafter would start a nasty breakout – so I decided to nix the other brands just stick with Simple.
The Cleansing Wipes are one of my favorite products, and something I really use every. single. day. Multiple times per day, in fact. I use them after work, after a workout, and before bed. I love the feeling of a clean face, and these wipes do the trick! They smell light and not overly fragranced, as they are true to their name, “Simple”.
The only complaint I had with the original cleansing wipes was that it had a tendency to dry my forehead and on the sides of my nose. I really didn’t notice “all over” dryness, but certain areas of my face would certainly become dry if I didn’t apply a moisturizer after using the wipes.
I really hadn’t though much more about it until I was out shopping at CVS the other day, looking to re-up my wipe supply, only to find that they had a new variety sitting on the shelf – Radiance Cleansing Wipes. I stood there comparing the two products, and noticed that the new Radiance variety touts three “skin loving” ingredients – mango extract, glycerin and Bisabolol. With my dry forehead in the forefront of my mind (pun intended), I decided to opt for the new package and see how they worked.
I have to say, I was very impressed. The wipes are a bit softer than the original variety, and feel delicate on my skin. I hvae no complaints of dryness, even without using a moisturizer, so this is a huge improvement in my book (as it really was my only complaint with the product to begin with!)
